| Adrift: Roots of Society | ||||
| 2008: A series of stone sculptures considering contemporary society and connections to history. The boat is a functional tool and a cultural signifier. It is here used as a metaphor for the drift of society away from its roots into an omnipresent reality. | ||||
| 2008: Two Public Art sculptures created with Marie Bortolotto. "First Light" is the story of new beginnings, installed in North Vancouver, BC. "ArborVitae" is a sculpture of encouragement for those fighting for a better life, installed in Kelowna, BC. Click on the titles of each piece for images and more details. | ||||
| Foundations & Humanity | ||||
| 2007: Architectural forms and translucent elements discuss the foundations of society and the growth of our awareness (green laminated glass) within the unknown (black slate). | ||||
| Ancient Voice | ||||
| 2006: Using geometry and concentric patterning to create objects displaced in history ... objects seemingly of previous civilizations yet curiously containing colored glass embellishment. The precise meaning is illusive, yet the feeling of an important message lingers. |

| Selected Sculptures | ||||
| 2005: First experiments with glass ... ancient forms ... return to the carved hand. | ||||
| Flesh and Stone | ||||
| 2002: What is the connection between the psychological and physical world? | ||||
| Manumit | ||||
| 2000: "Manumit" means: to free from bondage. Every individual life is a process towards self-awareness and fulfillment. Within this process is a dualism of adapting into society and rebelling into our individuality. | ||||
