Oliver Harwood is an artist exploring the human condition through stone sculpture. For 15 years he has ventured into the tangible and intangible world of the human struggle for identity and fulfillment. Carving stone can be an arduous, unforgiving process requiring an acute balance of physical engagement and focus. The process of slowly removing bits of stone to reach a final sculpture nicely reflects the human process of developing self awareness. Oliver's stone sculpture studio is in Vancouver, Canada.
